Hi, my name is Craig Tillem. As a kid I lived in South Florida where there are many different types of reptiles. When I was a young boy, one of my favorite things to do was to hunt for snakes and lizards with my friends. As time went on my passion as well as my collection began to grow.
In 1992, I bought a group of leopard geckos at a local reptile show. I was very successful reproducing these geckos. Then in 1994, I decided that wanted to start a business breeding reptiles in captivity. I named my business Gold Coast Reptiles. That same year I bought a local reptile show (Fort Lauderdale reptile expo) which is still to this day ongoing. By the end of that year, I increased my reptile production by buying animals from a variety of well known breeders. I then began selling my reptiles to local hobbyist and wholesalers. I had such great feedback on my productions that I had decided to attend major reptile shows all across Florida. I soon found that my clientele was rapidly expanding. I then in 1999 opened up my own shop, which led me to meet many customers with the same interests as I. One of which is now a partner of mine, Peter Gullo.
In 1996, Peter Gullo was breeding Burmese and reticulated pythons. Food for those animals became hard to find so he sold them to his friend, Bob Clark. Peter and I both played on a pool league together where we talked about reptiles nonstop. Feeling empty without his snakes he began collecting ball python morphs. In 2003, we ultimately decided to combine our collection. Peter breeds and takes care of all our ball pythons. He has surprisingly surpassed all of my expectations with his capability of breeding and reproducing, I am honored to have the privilege to work with him.
Today our reptile production is at its peak. And thanks to the following associates we now have some of the finest reptiles available.
